On 28 March this year, Quantum Lithuania organised an exclusive event together with the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania. During the event, together with representatives of various governmental institutions and scientific institutions and businesses, we explored the importance of quantum technologies and innovations for Lithuania, the global trends in quantum technology development, the current state of quantum technology development in Lithuania and more. One of the main conclusions is that quantum technology is the future, and it is already happening today.

Special thanks to Professor Yasser Omar from the University of Lisbon for his detailed presentation on the evolution of quantum technologies in the world and Europe and for the insights and ideas he provided, which were applied to Lithuania.

It was very valuable to hear about the creation of a quantum technology ecosystem, involving all stakeholders, to achieve the goals of Quantum Lithuania and Lithuania as a whole. Let's keep working together!
